                               COMMENTARY

  The Geneva Bible has a note saying; "A reason and proof why the wisdom of the flesh is death: because, he says, it is the enemy of God. A reason why the wisdom of the flesh is enmity to God, because it neither wants to nor can be subject to him, and by flesh he means a man that is not regenerated."

  This is a perfect description of the Romans 7 guy! He's subject to the law of sin & death folks. Read it again. He's sold under sin
Rom 7:14; can do nothing else but sin Rom 7:16  Rom 7:19; is a Captive to the law of sin Rom 7:23; & evil is continuously with him. Rom 7:21
