                             COMMENTARY

  A Changing of the Guard; We are "delivered from the law." Why? So that we may serve God -In the spirit of the law.

 But you see folks... the guy in this chapter... vss 14ff is still in bondage to the law. He's a slave to it. It holds him in -Captivity!- If that poor chap is a description of what it looks like to serve God in the spirit of the law then that doctrine must be defined to Include the element of sin. But that's Biblical insanity! The entire purpose of the work of Messiah in His Gospel is to deliver men -From- their sin. What kind of a description of that leaves men -still in- their sin¿... which is the ~Only~ way you can describe the guy in Romans 7:14ff!  Either that or else Christianity and the Bible are nothing but a mental LSD trip and you can make the Bible say whatever you want to. What irrational madness!
