Rom 7:4  Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God. ASV

                                COMMENTARY

  Does the person in vss 14-25 look like someone who is dead to the law? Does he look like someone who is bearing fruit unto God? Not even. He looks more like someone who is dead to righteousness and alive to sin folks. He looks more like someone who is bringing forth fruit unto Death?  The Law is pounding the stuffings out of him. It's killing him because he is still under  its  condemning power and there is nothing he can do to deliver himself from it.
