Rom 7:13  Did then that which is good become death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; - that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful. ASV

Rom 7:13  Then that which is good, has it become death to me? Let it not be! But sin, that it might appear to be sin, having worked out death to me through the good, in order that sin might become excessively sinful through the commandment. LITV

Again this is Exactly what Paul goes on to describe in vss 14ff.. the Exceedingly sinfulness of someone who is still under the law. Such a person cannot be a Regenerate Christian.

The Gospel is the fantastic news that God delivers His people from the power of sin and He does so in this life.

A Christian is one who has been delivered from the power of sin. If you have not been delivered from the power of sin then you are NO Christian!
If you say that the man in Rom 7:14ff has been delivered from the power of sin then you are NO Christian.
