                                COMMENTARY

When a Presbyterian sprinkles Willie he is declaring faith to be Void and the promise made  of No effect! This is because unless Little Willie is Regenerate and has true Biblical Saving Faith he is not yet Justified. He is still under the Law! And this verse clearly teaches that those who are still under the law are no heirs.

When
a Presbyterian says Willie is "in the covenant"... which is to say he's an heir, he denies Justification By Faith!

And what is the Covenant Theologian's escape hatch? The idiotic, false doctrine known as "Presumptive Regeneration".  By it they "presume" that Little Willie is Regenerate... although how he got that way is a complete mystery. He certainly shows no fruits of Regeneration. He is simply "presumed" to be regenerate until he 'demonstrates otherwise'. Well I'm here to tell ya folks that it won't take too long before the little tyke does 'demonstrates otherwise' and shows his depravity. Not to mention that such a notion as "Presumptive Regeneration" is found nowhere in the entire Bible and is in fact in direct opposition to the plain testimony of the Bible that all men are conceived in sin; Psa_51:5; transgressors from the womb; Isa_48:8; and go astray the moment they are born speaking lies. Psa_58:3. Scripture teaches quite clearly that all men are born under condemnation because of sin. According to Christianity therefore, all men are to be presumed Guilty, i.e. Lost, until  proven  otherwise. Yet the notion of "Presumptive Regeneration" teaches the ~Exact Opposite~ by Presuming Little Willie to be  ~~Saved~~  until he proves otherwise. This is the most subtle and insidious form of Pelagianism one can imagine. In effect Presumptive Regeneration is a denial of the Biblical truth of human depravity which leads ultimately to a denial of the Gospel of Justification by Faith ==Alone==! Presumptive Regeneration says Willie is justified by reason of his physical Birth to "believing parents".  The result is a depraved sinner who has been Regenerated, Justified, Saved, without having heard and believed one word of the Christian Gospel.

What stuff............!
