                             COMMENTARY

What Christ says here is in conjunction with temporary belief as he teaches in Matt 13 & the parable of the sower. The sobering truth gleaned from this passage is that people can have such temporary faith, which is a dead faith whereby such people are unsaved... all the way to the grave and on into judgment. Read that one again. Many... for that’s the word used by Messiah... MANY will go to judgment thinking they are saved only to find out that Christ never knew them! If this passage does not strike fear into your heart then it is probably because you still have an evil heart of unbelief and your faith is vain. You are yet dead in your sins.
