                                    COMMENTARY

  Let the DFDs [Defenders of False Doctrine] digest this passage a while. They fight tooth & nail to Defend False Doctrine... what they’re saying is that a passage such as this can be true for -saved- people! Yet Scripture clearly & emphatically teaches that a Christian is one who has been -delivered- from darkness! Ac 26:18 Eph 5:8 Col 1:13 1Pe 2:9 1Jo 2:8 See also Romans 6 et al.

Not only is this directed to those who hold false doctrine & refuse to repent, but it also applies to all who claim to be Christians but whose -lives- are not according to the Scriptures. Remember... Scripture teaches that both life and doctrine must match. Otherwise one has no cause to claim he is saved.
