Heb 7:5  And they indeed of the sons of Levi that receive the priest's office have commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though these have come out of the loins of Abraham: ASV

                                      COMMENTARY

  This verse clearly puts tithing under the category of "Law".  Tithes were commanded under the Levitical Priesthood which was under the
economy of the Mosaic Covenant which consisted of the 10 Cs. Therefore, unless we find tithing either taught or practiced in the N.T. we are no longer required to tithe! Why so? Because the law was -Changed-! Read on.
