COMMENTARY
If the law "makes men high priests" and it is still in effect
then the law says that any high priest MUST be from the line of Levi
through Aaron! Therefore, as noted, the law must of necessity have been
changed; abrogated; done away!
Moreover we see here the Law, which was the Ten Commandment Covenant, is inseparably joined to the Levitical Priesthood for it says "For
the Law makes, or appoints men high priests." That was one of the
functions of the law and that law made or appointed Aaron & his
line to the Priesthood. Therefore if the law is still in force you must
-of necessity- have the Levitical Priesthood. Otherwise you have broken
that covenant. That means that Covenant Theologians are in a continual
broken covenant status!
And they think that that is pleasing to God?
Further, if the 10C Covenant requires the Levitical Priesthood,
and it does, then what of those who Covenant Theologians claim were
under the 10Cs before Moses? There is no record of such nor of a
"Levitical" Priesthood before Moses. That means that everybody before
Moses who were supposedly under the 10Cs were all in a continual status
of a broken covenant, including all the Patriarchs!
