COMMENTARY
If Moses was the "administration" of the covenant of grace then
the blood of bulls and goats is the blood of the covenant of grace for
it is here called the blood of the covenant. This is what Covenant
Theologians are ~Forced~ to say and... it's sheer blasphemy!
Even worse some CTers say there are ~Two~ covenants of grace and Moses
is one of them! That can only mean there must be "two bloods of the
covenant[s]". I mean folks, after a while it gets as thick as sewer
sludge.
Moreover the Covenant was
not comprised of the Ten Commandments exclusively. It included all the
laws that followed... ~along with their sanctions~ which is a
very important point to keep in mind. Covenant Theologians
want to continue the Old Covenant into the NT because they claim that
it is the "unchanging moral law of God which applies to all men in all
ages"... while at the same time they go & change the penal
sanctions of those laws. No one puts children to death because they
strike or curse their parents. No one puts people to death for
"desecrating the sabbath"!
