COMMENTARY
Egyptians even!! And notice it makes a clear distinction between Jews
and Proselytes! A "proselyte" is a ~Gentile~ who has converted to
Judaism. Now... if these Proselytes were already Jews then the
language makes no sense. No mon... there were non-Jewish Proselytes...
Gentiles present.
